Lila Vale was only four when everything ended.

She doesn't remember much-just bright lights, a broken fox, and something that never felt right.
Put back together again and again, she learns what it means to break... and what happens when something can't be fixed anymore.

As the years pass and the world changes, Lila becomes something else-something unstable, something watching through flickering screens and distorted voices.

Sometimes she helps.
Sometimes she doesn't.

And somewhere in the dark, she's still trying to understand why.

But some things were never meant to be understood.
