⚝──⭒─⭑─⭒──⚝ ❝ Gas stations at 12 am hit different.❞ ❝ Oh yeah, who's gonna take me?❞ ❝ Me...duh, c'mon we can share a free slurpee. ❞ 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧 His breath was moving down my mouth and into my throat within each second. It was ice cold, cold like he's been sitting in a cubed bath. His skin was pale but wasn't too pale to where he couldn't tan. He then yanked his jersey over his shoulder before zipping up his gray baseball pants. His eyes met my left eye intentionally before moving to the right. Then quickly towards my mouth, Where at this point, I had no idea what he's doing. I was entranced, sexually, mentally and physically. He then smoothly moved back where our eye contact finally met for the tenth time tonight. We kissed one last time in the Uber. His lips felt soft like butter, and his ocean spray cologne kept sticking to my chest. This all felt like a fantasy, a dream that I couldn't wake up from. We backed away from each other, as he just sat there, and smiled at me. I began to tie my cleats, but he reached over, and grazed my arm. His touch was soft like he soaked it in Garra Rufa fish before we played the championship game. " Are we good now?" He sets my hand in his palm, hugging his fingers around mine. " Hm... I liked when you begged so no," A smirk emerging from my face, as I patted his wrist. " What is this gonna be a award winning routine where I have to beg for your attention," Asked Kieran, pushing the tip of his tongue against his cheek. " Well...it does sound promising," " In that case, can we please do the Death Drop at the fair tomorrow?" Kieran pleaded. " Come on, grow some balls." " Bro, so was my dick not big enough for you when we were having sex two seconds ago?" I said, narrowing my eyes.

Alessandra has never believed in safety. Life never gave her a reason to. Pain carved her childhood, silence became her armor, and trust? That was a luxury she could never afford. So when she runs -- bloody, broken, and barely breathing, she doesn't expect saving. She certainly doesn't expect to be taken in by a family dripping in wealth and power and. . . warmth? A mother who refuses to give up on her. A father who watches like he's waiting for her to let him in. And six brothers. Rough. Protective. Complicated. Brothers, who don't know what to do with a sister who won't speak. She doesn't know how to trust. How to believe that maybe not everyone wants to hurt her. Every instinct tells her to run. To shut down. But they don't let her go. Not when she flinches. Not when she hides. Not even when she breaks. Happiness is for other people, or that's what she believes. But when love comes wrapped in gentle patience and fierce protection, when hands reach for her without demand, when hearts break themselves wide open just to hold her... she starts to wonder. Can a girl stitched together with silence and fear ever belong in a family built on love? Can she stand tall when the ghosts of her past refuse to let go? And when danger claws its way back into her life, threatening everything she's come to know... will she find her voice, or will she shatter all over again? Trigger Warnings: Child abuse. Violence. Addiction. Panic attacks. Self-harm. Death, and more.
