A flightless avian has, as far as he could see, been reluctantly hired to be on the crew of a 1700s mail ship. A ship that Spencer never particularly wanted to be on. But, being the optimist he is, he tries to make the most of it. After all he didn't know what else to do. With nothing but an elementary level education, two accidental murder charges, and enough trauma to send a centaur down a spiral (if you are unaware. centaurs are very strong willed) He didn't have many other options. Being on the ship wasn't bad by any means. Free food, shelter, and eventually friends. is well worth the consistent harassment of peers. Paying the price for having wings that don't work.
