gohan stoped his potential ritual to help getting most of it out sonic told gohan to hold the fight so he can get his potential unleashed unlike gohan sonics ritual was fully complete with his potential unlocked he's now the fastest thing in existence and also made him stronger giving him ultimate but like gohan sonic also got absorbed but buu still lost but sonic got transformed to another world similar to his but not at the same time
