A Thornless Rose (Black Clover X Male Reader)

This is a story set in Black Clover that will function more like a spin-off, with focus on the MC and his squad instead of the Black Bulls. They will still be present and it will still follow the overall story, but he won't be alongside Asta and the Bulls constantly.

He will be apart of the Blue Rose. No, there won't be a creepy thing where he hides his gender. They will all know he's male, and there will be issues because of it. (One in particular. We all know who.)

The MC is a young boy whom was gifted the magic of Nature. With it, he creates plants or stones, often using his limited mana to grow vegetables or make small rocks to impress his friends and family.

After seeing an experienced Magic Knight with his own eyes, he feels himself emboldened, suddenly dreaming of becoming one himself when he gets older, much to his parents worry while his friend's laugh at him assuming he was joking due to his weak magic attribute. But their lack of faith didn't stop him, and after a few years of training, he reaches the required age to receive his grimoire and wastes no time in taking his exam, passing with flying colors despite his weak attribute. However, when it comes time for him to be chosen, he steps up to find only one hand raised.

That hand, to the surprise of not only him, but several other Squad Captains...came from none other than Captain Charlotte Roselei of Blue Rose.
