Twins Olivia and Liam have never met their family. All alone in the world, save for each other, their own mother has never let them forget her sacrifices through the abuse and neglect that they experience at her hands.

Just shy of their 13th birthday, their mother is murdered by her fiance and they are sent to live with their father and older brothers that they have never met before. While they had seen pictures, and embarrassingly enough (for them), had imagined them as a part of their games as children, they did not know who they were, not even their first names.

For a split second everything seemed like it was going to be okay, until it wasn't.

Olivia was the one who unfortunately paid the price.

Betrayal and pain is a hard pill to swallow, but it shapes strength and resilience from even the most fatal wounds.
