The Virus

10 years after a deadly virus swept the earth, everything was starting to get back to normal. The virus began to disappear after the 2nd year, and laws were reinstated. Elections restarted a year after that. Order was restored to the world.
The people have mourned their lost loved ones and started working again. For a few years, everything felt like it did before the virus. Until they came.
We are the forgotten, but they will remember us now.
When people got sick, the children weren't dying, not all of them. There were a few who had survived across the globe. Around 300 of the thousands who were infected.
But they didn't just survive; their DNA was altered, and they could do things no one else could.
It wasn't hard to gather the children; to make a corporation meant to "protect" the kids, in the midst of hysteria, a parent will believe anything if it means their baby may live.
Underground, they went. 4 sectors around the world to house the children. 5 of the 300 became worthy soldiers; they survived every test, every experiment, every obstacle.
The men in charge of the DCS had targets they wanted gone or well watched. Lots of targets. Now, they have a way to. It took 10 years to perfect them. Now no one can stop them. No one.
