Tatjana chose distance. Leaving her home in Hawaii behind, she moved to the City of Angels in search of a fresh start.

Los Angeles was filled with people who seemed almost unreal. Angels sent from heaven themselves.

Or rather, Evan Buckley and Eddie Diaz.

After transferring to the 118 in the aftermath of a devastating tsunami that tore through the streets of Los Angeles, Tatjana begins to question whether staying was the right decision after all.

However, it doesn't take long for her to become part of the firefighter family, and perhaps part of another one, too.
