Odette(Ettie) Marie has been working every day since her employers hired her from the orphanage at age 18. For as long as Ettie could remember, all she had ever wanted was to find someone to share her love and dance her heart out. Ettie loves dancing, especially to Michael Jackson. When that man sings, Ettie gets lost in the music and doesn't want to stop dancing. One day, an opportunity was given to her. Motown was hosting its Halloween party, and Ettie was made to work there, but was mistaken for a guest, and someone very particular had already fallen in love with her.
