They thought they had forever - or at least one more static summer.

It's the early 2000s: burned CDs, late-night calls, cheap parties that last too long, and a friend group that feels more like a whole universe than just a few people trying to grow up. Some of them play in a band, chasing something bigger than their town. Some are just trying to figure out who they are before everything falls apart.

But everything changes the night Vivienne Berkshire meets a girl on her way home from a party.

What starts as something small - a look, a conversation, a feeling she can't really name - slowly begins to change everything, not just for her, but for all of them.
