SMILE

Y/n. That's you. Normal girl, normal life. You live in the bustling city of Osaka, Japan. You have it all. Nice house, popular friends. Rich. Stable. But all good things disappear eventually, right? That night, your parents left. Your mother walked out of the house. Your father, walking shortly behind her, turns slightly. He looks at you. His eyes are cold. Emotionless. They left you. They left for good. He would never leave you. He loves you. You just don't know it yet, y/n! He watches you. All he wants, it's simple really, is to make you smile.

This story is mildly interactive, with the main character being the reader themselves. Written in more of a fanfic format, "SMILE" is primarily about Jeff the Killer and his intense and fiery obsession with y/n, driving him to commit multiple murders and unthinkable acts just to be close to her. In a twist of events, y/n is kidnapped by Jeff upon the night of her parents leaving her after a fight. To y/n's shock, instead of killing and mutilating her body, Jeff treats her better than anyone she has been in the same room with before. One night, Jeff says the words "I want you." Over and over. The next morning, y/n is left confused. Is it Stockholm syndrome, or does she really love him?
