No one knows where it came from, nor how long it has existed for.
All that's known for certain is that it's near endless, and that most who wander through it lose themselves.
Some say the floors are chaotic in nature, while others say that they all pave a path. It is a place that means certain things to different people.
Those people call this place 'The Complex', others refer to it as 'The Halls'.
But most know it as 'The Backrooms'.
~ I recently started this project (on the 7th of May) and I plan on keeping it going for a long time. I would love feedback as I continue, so that I can make this story something really special for the fandom. I hope you enjoy it! ~

Long ago, 4 gods ruled over humanity since their beginning, but after growing bored, they decided to play a game with humanity. Dividing their power into 52 cards that give humans a part of their power, the gods then disappeared leaving behind a prophecy that said one card wielder would rule over them. The rest of humanity then began hunting down the 52 card users with extreme violence, but since a card would randomly pass to another person in the world, they began imprisoning them. Years past, now in modern-day, a boy hurt and scared because of the hunt for the card wielders, blames the gods and so the Devil bestowed upon him their card. Finding himself in a city for card wielders, he uses his devil's luck to win the game against the gods.
