Now at 21, Luz and Amity are trying to rebuild normal lives in an increasingly unstable magical world. But when a broken rift opens and something ancient begins to awaken, they're pulled into a dangerous journey through collapsing realms, forgotten towers, and forces that seem to remember Luz dying... even if she came back.
