But as the semesters blur and the pressures of their personal tragedies mount, the sanctuary begins to feel more like a cage. What started as support slowly twists into a dangerous dependency, where they become each other's only comfort and their greatest excuse to stop fighting for a future. They are drowning in the reality of their own lives, and the harder they cling to one another, the faster they seem to sink.
