Aruna Stilinski left Beacon Hills to live out her college dreams in Seattle, Washington pursuing a career in paranormal journalism. When a night out with a mysterious stranger lands her in a compound filled with vampires, her only thought is that of escape and opportunity knocks when Rowan Winters provides her with the window she needs to accomplish her goals.
Aruna and Rowan believe once they cross the border into Beacon Hills that they will be safe from danger, but there is a force being drawn into its city limits, and it will take the help of Scott McCall and his pack to thwart the enemies knocking at their door.
