Starting over

After moving halfway across the country, Zoey is forced to leave behind everything she's ever known - her friends, her hometown, and the life she loved. Starting at a new school feels impossible when everyone already seems to have their place, and no matter how hard she tries, she can't seem to fit in. Lonely and homesick, Zoey begins counting down the days until she can finally go back home.

But when her parents drag her to a welcoming party hosted by family friends, everything starts to change. There, she meets their son and his close-knit group of friends who slowly pull her out of her shell. What begins as awkward introductions turns into late-night talks, inside jokes, and unexpected feelings that make Zoey wonder if maybe this new place could actually become home.
