Beyond The White Coat: Between Duty and Love

Dr. Mohammad Abrar is known as the "Hitler" of City Care Hospital - strict, emotionless, and impossible to impress. For him, discipline comes before feelings, and mistakes are unforgivable. His life revolves around surgeries, responsibilities, and silence.

Dr. Rukhsar, on the other hand, enters the same hospital with nervous dreams and quiet determination. Shy yet resilient, she only wants to become a good doctor while balancing her family's expectations and her own fears.

"Dr. Rukhsar, you are in the middle of your critical surgical rotation. Do you think.....hospital can afford to lose an intern for half a month?" He said

"Khud ki shaadi hai aur wajah mujhse pooch rahe hain..."
​"Speak up, Dr. Rukhsar" Abrar commanded quietly.

​"Sir, meri shaadi hai" she said aloud, her voice tight.

"Bed 3 ka IV drip abhi tak kyun nahi badla? Maine bees minute pehle order diya tha" Abrar stepped toward her, his eyes piercing right through her, cold and entirely unforgiving.

"Sir, main yahan child patient ko stitch kar rahi hoon... inka bleed zada tha.... Bas do minute, main karke-"

"Maine 'do minute' nahi maange thay, Doctor!" Abrar stopped right at the edge of the bed...."Wahan patient severely dehydrated ho raha hai, unka BP drop kar raha hai, aur aap yahan apni marzi se priorities set kar rahi hain? If you cannot multitask under pressure, you don't belong in the ER! Go and fix that drip. Now!"

"Hospital gossiping ke liye nahi hota, Rukhsar" he said, his voice sharp.

"Hum bas 5 minute ka break le rahe thy sir" she replied, intentionally using the formal title, though it felt like salt on a raw wound.
