The Shots We Won't Keep (About You Trilogy 2)

"I spent so much of my life making sure everyone else felt loved that I never noticed I was the one left empty."

"I lived the life everyone wanted for me until I couldn't hear my own dreams anymore."

Fiona Louise Villafuente has always known how to care for others. Whether it's her students, orphaned children, her friends, or the stories she writes as the head sports writer of Maharlika International University, she gives pieces of herself without asking for anything in return. Yet beneath her warm smile lies a question she's never been able to answer for herself: When will I ever be enough?

Adrian Yuseff Wei has spent his life following a path others carefully laid before him. As a photojournalist from Kingsbridge University, he has a talent for capturing moments everyone else overlooks-but some dreams refuse to stay hidden behind the lens forever.

A chance encounter at a collegiate basketball championship turns into familiar smiles, harmless flirting, and a friendship that slowly feels like home. But while some stories are easy to write, others remain trapped between fear, expectations, and the words left unsaid.

Perhaps love isn't about finding the right person.

Perhaps it's about becoming the right version of yourself when love finally arrives.

A story about self-worth, healing, family expectations, and second chances-because sometimes, love doesn't fail.

Sometimes, it simply arrives before both people are ready.

This is a transgender woman × straight man story.
