KN-521 spent years at the academy learning all the technologies of The First Order and the Empire. Historical tech had always been a special interest to her. So landing an assignment in the Communications Command Center on the Finalizer almost seemed like a dream job. It was easy to fix the issues on the destroyer unless it was one caused by Commander Kylo Ren. His constant tantrums left communications and navigation terminals completely destroyed. And her irritation with the Commander only endears her to the good General Hux.
After one such incident, KN-521 discovers, much to General Hux's dismay, that the parts needed for repair are no longer made. And the only place where KN-521 can salvage a replacement is in the remains of one of the two Death Stars.
And the only way to get there is with an escort by the person she hates most who makes her job the hardest. Commander Kylo Ren.
