A Dangerous Distraction

Raffy is in love with Jack. It's obvious to everyone except Jack himself.
Because Jack is still tangled up with Dean - his ex, who's decided to fight for a second chance. And Dean doesn't lose.
So Raffy watches from the sidelines. Waiting. Hoping. Breaking a little more every day.
Then there's Rome.

Jack's younger brother. The one who doesn't care about anything. . He doesn't do feelings. He doesn't do commitment.
But one night changes everything.
It wasn't supposed to mean anything. A distraction . No feelings. No strings. Just two lonely people using each other to forget.
Except forgetting is harder than it looks.
Raffy can't stop thinking about Rome's hands. Rome's voice. The way Rome looked at him in the darkness like he was something precious.
He's still chasing Jack. He's still telling himself that Rome doesn't matter. He's still pretending that everything is fine.
But nothing is fine.

Because every time Jack breaks his heart a little more, Rome is there. Every time Dean wins another small victory, Rome is there. Every time Raffy wants to give up, Rome is there - quiet, patient, asking for nothing.
And Raffy is terrified.
Because what if he's been chasing the wrong person all along?
What if the one he needs has been standing in the background this whole time, waiting for him to notice?
