Adam lives in New York with his husband Michael and their children and their dog Scooby. Adam is a special victim's detective. He loves his job so much, because he can bring justice to the victims. Although he loves his job, it can be quite emotional and difficult, especially when a child is being abused or when a school shooting occurs.

But when the apocalypse hit the world nothing would be the same again. Adam is separated from his family. Fifteen years later he's living in Boston QZ. He's a ruthless smuggler.
