Elizabeth settled on a couch in the shop opening the newly signed book with care. On the inside page just under the sprawling signature of her best friend were the words 'For Elizabeth, my inspiration." Outside blackbirds sang. 

(A 1,000 word piece that my dear friend @HungerGamesObsessive made me post. Sorry if it's incredibly awful, I'm a little rusty after not writing for a few months.)
