A boy with a secret.

A girl with a dream.

The story of a lifetime.

Alex Barrie was a normal teenage girl who just wanted some adventure in her life. School, friends, and a social life just wasn't enough for the ambitious senior.

Skylar Whitley was the boy no one noticed. He was studious, and shy, and kept to himself because he was different.

The world was once a dangerous place for people who were different.

When the world learned of people they had dubbed "supers", they became fearful, and scared of the powers the abnormal people possessed. Whether it was the power of flight, or the ability to change shape, the world became anxious, and eventually, hostile.

Alex has never understood the caution against the supers. They were just unique, she thought. But when a superVILLAIN shows up in the city of Burnsbary, superheros must reveal themselves. But will anyone be able to tell the difference between hero and villain?

THIS BOOK TAKES PLACE AFTER 'BLOG OF A TEENAGE SUPERHERO'. You don't have to read that book first to understand the events that unfold in this one, but this story will spoil all the major plot twists in BoaTS. *** What makes a supervillain? After escaping prison, ex-supervillain Masquerade is on the run from the city he used to love. But the past, in the form of a boy he hurt and a superhero who saved him, won't let him go. He thinks if he joins the organization that wants to destroy "mutated monsters" like himself and the supers he used to terrorize, then maybe he can be made human again. Flawed logic, sure, but Masquerade would do anything to escape the person he's become. But when this organization takes their agenda a step too far, resulting in a tragedy far too close, Masquerade has got to choose: to be the person he's learned to be, or to fight back. *** COMPLETE
