Jane and Kendall's story has officially come to a close, with the war between angels and demons finally cooled. But one threat remains: the tears are still opening up everywhere at an increasingly alarming rate.

Jane and Kendall do their best to keep their child, Helena, out of everything supernatural. Even while her abilities grow beyond their control.

Lone becomes increasingly suspicious, and no longer completely able to hide in his dark shadows as the reality of Helena constantly causes disruption in his carefully maintained facade.
