Love in Deep Water

Lena Hart used to believe in love.

Now she photographs twelve-hour weddings fueled by champagne, family drama, and brides asking for "candid moments" while actively posing in front of flower walls. Burnt out, emotionally exhausted, and one more sparkler exit away from a complete nervous breakdown, Lena is desperately trying to survive wedding season without losing her mind.

Then a random argument with a grumpy aquarium curator goes viral on TikTok.

Suddenly, the internet is obsessed with the "secret relationship" between Lena and Dr. Theo Maren - the painfully serious marine conservationist whose idea of flirting is correcting people about octopus intelligence. The aquarium's ticket sales explode overnight, Lena's photography business starts trending, and before either of them can stop it, they agree to fake date for publicity until the aquarium's big exhibit launch.

It should be easy.

Maybe one or two fake kisses for the cameras.

Instead, Lena finds herself falling for Theo's dry humor, quiet kindness, and the way he sees through every joke she uses to hide behind. Meanwhile, Theo is discovering that beneath Lena's chaos is someone running herself into the ground trying to make everyone else happy.

But the more real their fake relationship starts to feel, the harder it becomes to tell where the performance ends.

And when the internet that brought them together threatens to tear them apart, Lena and Theo will have to decide if love is something worth believing in again - even when the whole world is watching.
