During her sophomore year, rising sports star Parker Atkinson suddenly finds herself thrusted into the spotlight as her high school football team's starting quarterback after the first-string player is sidelined by a serious accident. Emma has always been Parker's quiet anchor, tutoring her through late-night homework sessions, cheering her on at every practice and game, and shielding her from the cruel remarks of others.
