Rio Takahashi had never given much thought to marriage, or even love.

Since transferring to a high school in Japan, he's done everything he can to maintain a quiet, controlled life. Despite the "cold" attitude he tries to put on, he cares far more than he lets on. Still, he keeps people at a distance, aside from his best friend, the tennis club's ace, Takumi Hayashi.
