But not everything can be celestial rainbows and sparkles. Not long after, Cherri got sick. She would have died if Apo hadn't stepped in and dragged a Soluna physician to Cherrifire's bedside against Cherri's wishes. She got better, but now she is unable to control her magic. It cools to embers when she wants it to burn. It bursts out when she doesn't want it. "Burnout," Solunian physicians all agree, and prescribe rest and other home remedies.
