Story Summary

The narrative follows a writer living in Mumbai who unexpectedly reconnects with her childhood best friend, Arjun, after thirty years of silence. The two grew up "three houses apart" until Arjun moved to Pune at age twelve. On his last day, the narrator wrote a simple instruction in green ink on the final page of his notebook: "Wherever you end up, find me."

Decades later, while researching an article on digital archives, the narrator discovers a four-year-old comment on her old portfolio website signed only as A.This discovery prompts her to track him down. Upon reconnecting, she learns that Arjun not only remembered her but had carried that specific notebook through seven different moves over thirty years, eventually adding his own note beneath hers: "Still looking."
