The Forbidden Wish

Not every wish is meant to be granted.
Some wishes are not given because they are impossible, but because they are absolutely forbidden.
In stories, there's a being capable of altering fate.
It can grant three wishes.
No more. No less.
It can make the unreachable possible.
bring you closer to what you desire, reshape events, and bend the world in your favor.
But it has limits.
You cannot wish for love.
It cannot force another person's feelings.
You cannot wish for death or harm upon others.
And you cannot ask for more wishes.
Yet even with these prohibitions,
there is always a way.
Not through asking
but through exchange.
And the deeper your desire grows,
the heavier the price it may take.
