Best served gently

The events following the years after the ending "best served hot" in the horror game dead plate, a visual novel horror game about how love consumes in more ways than one, yet all forms of love can be equally destructive-wether it be towards yourself or The very one you love. This fanfiction is a fan-made interpretation of the years following the best served hot ending, where Vincent survives having his neck stabbed and left trapped within the burning barista by Rody after he found out Vincent killed his girlfriend, and he and Rody find each other once more, years later-personalities exhibited in Vincent and Rody won't be the same in this writing compared to in game-this is intentional to instead match the personalities the creators of the game gave to Vincent and rody when they made the concept of Vincent surviving(can be found in the dead plate art book), this intention of mine being to remain as close to canon as they canonically would've acted if things really went down this route.
