Lies of Mr. Anansi

He was forced into a life of crime during his childhood. His own mother used him for her advantage; all because of one thing he could do best: tell lies. As an adult, Kwame Anansi decides to turn away from that life and become a fully dedicated professor of Psychology. But his lies followed him all the way to the top.

Anansi's habit of lying destroyed his marriage and caused his separation from his son. But even while they are gone, his secret life is still unknown to the people around him. To them, he's just a charismatic and intelligent man who lives by the proverb: 'All work and no play makes Anansi successful,' but alone in the dark, he's a man on a different agenda. Years before his work at Legon University, he devised a plan to use his lies for something good. A plan to change the lives of young delinquents, the worst kind of students who are reckless, unhinged, and are a danger to themselves and others. He only found out that Legon University has been crawling with them for so long, so now, he's taken action.

He has set his sights on the Thompsons, final year students, and the only siblings who have never set foot in his class before. He makes it his obsession to reform them. To know everything about them, he infiltrates their private lives and network of friends; digs deeper into their background until a dark family secret is revealed. Talking about secrets, it appears he hasn't seen the last of his ex-wife, Deladem, because she's not convinced that he just wanted to end the marriage with an affair. That's why she's doing her own investigation into Mr. Anansi.
