Axeiah Haeven Clemonte was the sunshine of her family. She was always positive and had a natural ability to make the people around her feel safe and comfortable. She was everything anyone could ever ask for-rich, kind, sweet, intelligent, and breathtakingly beautiful. When she transferred to a new school, she instantly became the top student. Little did she know, her arrival was slowly ruining someone else's dream. Denver Nikolai Sevarro came from a poor family and had spent his entire life relying on his intelligence to survive. His only goal was to escape poverty and give his mother the life she deserved after years of watching her work two exhausting jobs just to support his education. The moment Axeiah effortlessly claimed the highest rank in school, Denver saw her as more than just a new student-he saw her as a rival. Their academic rivalry became impossible to ignore. Every quiz turned into a competition, every recitation became a battle of wit, and every examination felt like a war neither of them was willing to lose. Denver studied tirelessly day and night, refusing to let privilege defeat the years of sacrifice he and his mother had endured. Meanwhile, Axeiah continued to excel with grace and composure, unaware that her brilliance only fueled Denver's determination even more. They were complete opposites-Axeiah, the girl who seemed to have everything, and Denver, the boy who had nothing except his dreams and relentless ambition. Yet despite their constant clashes and endless competition, they slowly became each other's greatest motivation. Because in a world where everyone compared them against each other, Axeiah and Denver were determined to prove who truly deserved the top spot.

Valeria didn't rush. She never did. Inez was pinned beneath her, wrist locked overhead, the hold precise and impersonal. Not pain. Control. Inez scoffed anyway. "That's it?" she sneered. "I've had tutors scarier than you." Valeria said nothing. The silence pressed in. "You don't scare me," Inez added, louder. Brattier. "You just-" "Enough." One word. Flat. Final. Valeria lifted Inez's chin with two fingers, detached as a correction. "Look at me," she said coolly. "If you're going to embarrass yourself, do it properly." Inez laughed, brittle. "You think this makes you powerful?" "I don't think," Valeria replied. "I decide." Her gaze never wavered. "You provoke because it's the last control you have." "I don't belong to you," Inez snapped. Valeria leaned in, voice razor-thin. "You are my wife. You belong to consequences." She released her grip. "Say it." "No." Valeria waited. The quiet broke Inez, she hated being ignored. "...I'll behave, I'll be a good girl" Inez muttered. "Specify." Inez swallowed hard. "...I'll be your good girl" Valeria stepped back, already distant. "Good," she said. "Remember why." #1 older women-13th February (FAST PACE BOOK)
