A highland lord brought his eldest daughter into backroom at Annabels in London, she was dressed in fine silks and had great manners. He placed her opposite a boy with too much money, danger and no proper place in the world he was trying to enter. She came from old blood, stone estates, a devout catholic bloodline, veils, prayers, gloves, corsets, private schools and the quiet rules of a life planned long before she was old enough to say otherwise. He came from diamonds, violence, cartels, foreign cities, impossible wealth and a world where boys don't stay boys for very long. What began as afternoon tea, walks and brief polite conversation slowly became something neither side could treat as simple anymore. Between a Highland estate and a criminal empire, a match was made. And once the Loch met the diamond, neither world stayed untouched.
