Wonder Child is a psychological coming-of-age fantasy drama that follows Egypt Mason, a lonely and emotionally disconnected 10-year-old boy who has always felt different from the world around him. Raised beneath expectations he never wanted and struggling to understand his place in life, Egypt dreams of becoming someone special - someone important enough to matter in a world that constantly misunderstands him.

The only person who truly sees him is Val Katherine, a fiercely compassionate yet emotionally wounded girl two years older than him who carries painful scars of her own.
