Fiero is a shy and introverted romance writer. His flatmate, Taeju, is an extroverted sports therapist who has zero shame. Together, they devise a plan to out-couple Fiero's ex, Saetbyeol who also invited him and a plus one to her ridiculously extravagant pre-wedding love retreat which, logically, should only be reserved for close friends and family.

Fiero sees it as her way of apologising for how badly things ended between them. Taeju knows Saetbyeol suspects Fiero lied about moving on with a new, inseparable muse.

How hard can fake dating be? Absolute mayhem when one's an avid planner and the other improvises his way through almost everything.
