In this world, every family has an animal. Not a pet I mind you, but a spiritual animal that is to guard every child in the household. There are 3 main categories, sky animals, land animals, and sea animals. In those categories, you get a species that your first ancestors chose. Yet there are rankings, land animals are the highest and more powerful, sea creatures taking second, and air at last. But when it comes to love, you can only find a soulmate in your category. But what happens when two categories mix?

Adira Darling, a beautiful american girl from the Lion bloodline. She was extremely popular at Everton High School. With her perfect looks, and coquette style, she easily got attention. Of course, her father owned the biggest marketing company in the city of Everton, making her insanely rich. With Adira's attitude and rude demeanor, you'd think she's a brat, but Adira is actually sweet behind her resting bitch face and bully-coded ways. As the youngest and current only child in her bloodline, the lion protects her. Lion's have strong reputations, and most of the time mix with cheetahs or tigers.

Xera Dollen, A regular looking girl who somehow managed to move into a city of well-known people. But in a town of land and sea bloodlines, she was an air bloodline. Xera and her thrifted wardrobe struggle to fit in. As the new girl in town, she was an outcast. Her single mom works three jobs, barely able to afford their small- but cozy - one story, cottage-like house. Xera also being the youngest child in her bloodline, she is under the Raven's protection.

One day in the hallway, Xera and Adira cross paths. And after, Adira paid more attention to the girl from the Raven bloodline.
