Celeste is a feared curse-witch who, along with all the other witches, was banned from Banda 1200 years ago. Celeste tries to keep her magic a secret, because if they knew what powers she had, she would probably be dragged straight to the dungeons, or worse.
But when Celeste discovers a secret about her family, she has a new mission to fulfill.
She wants to get the crown from the future king and must remain undetected in the meantime, but that becomes very difficult when she is being pursued by the crown prince himself, whom she actually likes much more than she wants to admit.

Jake's life is turned upside down as soon as he invades a witch village, but when he arrives at his castle, he suddenly forgets everything from the moment the witches stormed out of the houses. When he later discovers witches on a cliff near a beach he cames verry often, his eye falls on a beautiful girl who will do anything to get rid of him. When he then suddenly finds someone he knows well dead in his bed, he has to organize a funeral and he also has to marry a girl who is not nearly as beautiful as the girl with the wild hair he first saw on the cliff.

Can Celeste and Jake both achieve their goals without one of them killing the other first?
