A Criminal and a Doctor
In a crowded Bangkok government hospital, 24-year-old resident Santa breaks protocol to adopt newborn Luke after finding his mother dead post-delivery. He knows the state children's homes too well to let Luke go there.
Safety lasts until Perth knocks on his Thonburi apartment door.
Perth, 38, is nak leng with a reputation and a rule: he only kills those who hunt him first. After refusing a hit on a pregnant woman, he's now the target. Wounded and out of options, he asks Santa for three days.
Santa should call the police. He should think of Luke. Instead, he thinks of the homes he's seen and says yes.
"A Criminal and a Doctor" is a Thai-set thriller about two men from opposite worlds trapped under one roof by circumstance and a baby. It's about bunkhun and betrayal, about whether a man who delivers life can trust a man who takes it, and about Bangkok at 3am - where hospital lights and neon signs blur, and the most dangerous thing in the room might be mercy.
New rules in Santa's apartment:
1. Luke comes first.
2. No guns past the kitchen.
3. Don't call each other phi yet.
They'll break all three.
