Set in an alternate universe at the start of The Croaking, Mikey is hurt by his brothers for wrecking the place. Instead of running away, he cleans up and tries to make amends.
However, when he hears his family speaking poorly of him behind his back, he reaches his breaking point and runs away, vowing never to return
Soon after, he is kidnapped by a strange alien from another universe. Five months later, the Hamato family finds Mikey in his new, brainwashed state, called Midnight.
They realise they must not only save him but also prevent Virus from using Mikey to conquer the world.
Determined to rescue Mikey and correct their past mistakes, the brothers will do anything to save him, but it won't be easy, as Midnight turns out to be their toughest opponent yet.
Can they free Mikey from Midnight's control? Can they restore their family? Or will failure doom them all?
