A talented but privileged young painter, Luca Ashford, becomes fixated on a ballet dancer he sees performing from a studio window in Brooklyn. Struggling to find inspiration, he decides she will become the subject of his next major work, a portrait meant to launch his career.

What she doesn't realize is that she is being seen.

As he studies her presence, discipline, and beauty, his fascination grows into obsession, and he begins to blur the line between art and reality.

Meanwhile, she remains unaware that she is becoming the center of his creative world while they begin to form a romantic connection.

He enters the finished painting into a major art exhibition to debut, hoping it will gain visibility.
But after submitting his work & as his love for her starts to grow, he realizes that what began as ambition has turned into something deeper.

When the truth eventually comes to light, she feels exposed and used, while he is forced to deal with the shattered pieces of their relationship.
