Eumelia Motya, born to a Greek mother and a Russian father, is looked down upon. Her father, Vitalik Motya, is the Pakhan of the Bratva. He is ruthless, heartless, and power-hungry. While she isn't too keen on being the most powerful, she obeys her father's wishes to perfection. The new goal ahead of her is to marry into the Italian mafia in place of her sister to end the 20-year war between them. At least, that's what it says on the contract.

Milo Lazzari is the younger brother of Rosario Lazzari, the current Don of the Mafia. He values loyalty above all else and loves his family very deeply. While he doesn't enjoy doing more than what is necessary, as the second-in-command, he would do anything to ensure the success and safety of the people he cares about. That includes marrying the enemy.
