Adelaide "Adi" Banda and Kerem Arslan have been best friends for as long as they can remember. Their families are intertwined, their summers inseparable, their lives stitched together through heartbreak, grief, celebrations, and growing pains. But time has a way of changing things. Kerem leaves for Istanbul. Adi builds a life in London. And suddenly the people who once shared everything begin orbiting each other from different corners of the world. Still, no matter how far life pulls them apart, they always find their way home every June and July for birthdays, family traditions, and the quiet certainty of each other. Until Adi's twenty-fifth birthday brings an old promise back to the surface. What once felt harmless at sixteen begins to shift into something neither of them knows how to name. Because somewhere between missed chances, almost-confessions, and the slow ache of growing apart, their friendship begins changing into something far more dangerous. And for the first time in their lives, coming home to each other may no longer be enough.
