Lavinia was tragically torn from her forest home and taken to a compound ruled by the Dark Elves, where she was forced to use her magic in service of darkness. Meanwhile, the Goddess Elven Clan wages war against the Dark Clan in an effort to free the witches held captive under their rule.

After the war, Aros (the Elven Goddess), seeks out Lavinia, praising the extraordinary power she possesses. In realization of Aros's true intentions Lavinia Leaves their presence to pursue her own adventure in finding out who she is.

In the midst, Ezra, the Dark Elven King, flees the wrath of his own corporal and unexpectedly crosses paths with Lavinia. Unbeknownst to him, the magic she once used for him in captivity played a role in securing her freedom. Intrigued by her strength and drawn to the goodness he sees within her, Ezra begins to question the darkness he has long praised, and valued.

Caught between two worlds, Lavinia finds herself torn. Her growing feelings for Ezra blur the line between enemy and ally, while Aros offers something no one believed possible: a wish powerful enough to free Lavinia's brother from the Goddess Prison, and force the truth from her mother's vanishment at last.

Now Lavinia must choose where she stands before both Clans pull her apart completely.
