Turbulence Between Us

There are over eight billion people in the world.

So why do I keep running into him?

Every airport.
Every flight delay.
Every terminal.

Ethan Laurier somehow appears wherever I am, usually with a sarcastic comment, a smug grin, and a new way to annoy me. After months of accidental run-ins around the world, I'm convinced he exists solely to ruin my travel days.

I hate him.

At least... I'm supposed to.

But when we end up seated beside each other on the same flight to Hawaii, things start getting complicated. Somewhere between late-night conversations, lingering stares, and arguments that feel a little too intense, the line between enemies and something else begins to blur.

Then comes one night in Hawaii.

One crowded club.
One impulsive decision.
One mistake we definitely weren't supposed to make.

Now I'm stuck sharing an island - and my thoughts - with the one person I swore I could never stand.

Funny how the universe kept bringing us back to the same airport, the same plane...

And maybe, eventually, the same heart.❤️
