To the wealthy elite of Spire Heights, Nearie Vesper is a flawless ballerina prodigy-a captive bird dancing in a gilded cage. But behind the curtain, the applause is fading. Nearie is a Philippine palm civet aniwoman, and the dark, creeping gravity known as The Stall is turning her elegant limbs to stone. Her rhythm is dying, her body failing, and her only lifeline is the fragile glow of a Lunar Lace charm and a desperate quest to find the lost Vibration Keys. To break her Lead Soul Curse, Nearie must venture far from her glittering stage and into the gritty, fog-covered industrial underbelly of the MurkDocks. Enter Forest Velez. A rugged dog forest half-wolf animan, Forest is a cynical photographer with a sharp tongue and an even deeper chip on his shoulder. He wants nothing to do with a fragile Spire girl, but as the historical Interspecies Accord begins to fracture, their paths collide at the neon-lit Sulu Moon Club. Forced together in the cramped, lived-in confines of Forest's camper van, The Night Breeze, the two must navigate a dangerous web of military conspiracies, hidden files, and a generational family feud. He is the grumpy shadow to her fading sunshine; a towering 6'1" force of nature to her fragile 5'2" frame. They are supposed to be enemies, but as the clock ticks down, he might be the only one who can help her find the Metronome of the First Beat before her final bow. In a city built on secrets, trust is a luxury they can't afford. But the heartbeat between them might just be the most dangerous rhythm of all.

"If the crown fits, baby, you're going down" Arundhati Shah was a mortal girl in the rule of the immortal Apsaras in the kingdom of Lanka, and you know how that goes. Cruel treatment from the heavenly beings because apparently, their egos were as large as their lives. But if Aru's learned anything, power doesn't have much to do with mortality. As a mortal girl in the rule of immortals, Aru had to find a way to make her life in this world worthwhile. And by worthwhile, she didn't mean getting spat on by the royals. No. She would be royalty in her own way, she would join the shadows as they schemed to overthrow the crown. She hated the royals. She despised them. Is there a thin line between love and hate, though? Well... When she meets Prince Aiden, the last of the Acharya line, things just become complicated when she's expected to kill him and take over the crown. However, she is just taught that in fact... The Cruel Crown obeys nobody. All of the characters (except my ocs) and og plot of tpq credits goes to the queen Roshani Chokshi! The general idea of the plot and the worldbuilding (tho its been changed a lot by me) credits goes to Holly Black! Lastly, this plot and chapters of the fanfiction DOES belong to me, so if you steal it, I steal you.
