"You are mine."
Alpha Addison inhaled deeply, his sharp gaze locked on her trembling form. The wild scent of fear and innocence tangled in the air, and his fangs slid out instinctively, aching to mark her but he held back. Not now. Not yet.
"I'm not... yours," Elara stammered, her voice unsteady. Her eyes darted around, meeting the piercing stares of the pack a thousand wolves encircling them, their eyes glowing with pride, their growls low and approving, as if celebrating their Alpha's claim.
Addison didn't hesitate. He moved forward, towering, unrelenting. "You are my mate," he said, his voice a growl of possession, a promise and a warning all at once. No amount of protest could stop him as he swept her into his arms and carried her off, locking her away in a secluded room. Her fists pounded against the door, but the walls didn't answer. She was his... whether she wanted it or not.
Elara Rose, a vivid photographer in her final year, had only come here to capture wild animals for her portfolio, driven by the spark her professor had lit in her. She'd braved sleepless nights, gruelling treks, and whispered warnings from villagers to reach this hidden place. But nothing had prepared her for the truth that humans could shift into wolves, their primal instincts sharper than their words.
And just when she thought she could escape, just when freedom was a breath away, Aiden appeared Addison's twin, but wilder, darker.
"You are mine!" Aiden snarled, his voice echoing through the forest. Before Elara could even scream, he had hoisted her effortlessly onto his shoulders, muscles rigid, his heat pressing against her chilled skin. Her fists thudded weakly against his back, but he didn't flinch, didn't stop.
Back in his secluded hut, the wooden door slammed shut with finality, the sound sealing her fate.
"You are only mine," he growled again, eyes burning amber.
And Elara exhausted, trembling, and suffocated by the word mine could only stare, her voice breaking into silence
