The town of Ashvale was never meant to feel welcoming.

Not with its endless fog, quiet roads, and pine forests that seemed to watch from the edge of town.

After her grandmother's death, returning to the isolated mountain town to settle the estate was supposed to be temporary. A few weeks at most. But the longer she stays, the more Ashvale begins to feel wrong. Locals whisper to themselves. Roads are blocked without explanation. People stand motionless in the woods at night.

And then there's the stranger watching it all unfold.

Quiet. Exhausted. Guarded in a way that makes him feel more dangerous than the town itself.

Leon Kennedy knows something is happening in Ashvale. Something buried deep beneath the forests and old mining roads surrounding the town. But as the line between infected and human begins to blur, the only thing more dangerous than whatever is hiding in the woods may be the growing attachment neither of them expected.

Because in a town slowly dying in silence, sometimes the only way to survive is to trust the person carrying just as many ghosts as you are.
