Chained to you

He got away once, away from everything.
His parents.
The abuse.
The family business.
He was never meant for that type of life, being shy and quiet never got him very far. He could never stand up for himself and still can't. He can't kill, can't steal, can't do deals and he had enough once he found out he was basically being sold off.
He had to grow up fast, with no college degree he did shitty jobs from bussing tables to delivery boy, waiting tables, cashier at convenient stores and so on.
He saved up his money and lived in rat infested one-bedroom apartments until he could go away, far away from everything.
One night he was cornered in an alley, beaten and raped by thugs, his savings stolen.
He would have been beaten to death if it wasn't for some stranger saving him and shooting the thugs dead.
He thought he was saved but, in all reality, he was brought back into the life he thought he was going to leave behind for good.
