Ruby lived her everyday life calmly, barely ever thinking about death, as if it were something insignificant that didn't affect her at all. But one day, everything turned upside down. Suddenly, doctors and white walls surrounded her, filled with that typical hospital smell. At first, she didn't understand what was happening. But when a doctor walked in to explain the facts, she realized it-this wasn't a game. And for her, this was the final act.
This story is about the romance of two people for whom every single day is a true gift... One of our main characters is Kai, who, after making a mistake during an important surgery, temporarily gave up the job he had hated since childhood but eventually came to love. Later on, he became so careful and precise in performing surgeries that it became almost miraculous. However, he didn't completely give up his medical career, as he now works as a consulting doctor, though it's not quite the same.
As for the girl... she was diagnosed with cancer a month ago, already at stage three. Her doctors always told her to be prepared for the possibility that she might have to leave this world...
But what happens if the two of them meet? Two souls whose worlds have been shattered, full of misunderstandings and regrets? This story follows their romance and their possible happiness.
